Help Murray Stenson

If an asteroid were to land on Portland during Portland Cocktail Week tonight, Murray Stenson would have to teach the entire Pacific Northwest how to tend bar again. So let's make sure he's healthy enough to do it.

Mr Stenson may require heart surgery, and like many bartenders, does not have medical insurance. Ted Munat said in his book Left Coast Libations, "He is, quite simply, the living embodiment of what a bartender can, and should, mean to a community." And it's that spirit of community that has led to tens of thousands of dollars have already been raised via the site http://murrayaid.org and through various fundraising events around the world, including one here in Los Angeles.
