Alcohol License For Shooting Range Approved

In the What-Could-Possibly-Go-Wrong? Department, city council of Powder Springs, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, have approved a liquor license for an indoor shooting range being built.

The Browns say the $3.5 million range will be like a country club, with members-only privileges. But instead of golf or tennis, the 20,000-square-foot facility is aimed at people who shoot bullets or arrows.

All snark aside, I fully support the right for business owners and city council to develop whatever business they want, and for any customers to patronize any business they want. But I know how much trouble can happen in a bar environment without the presence of a well-armed populace...
